At the beginning of this round, I kind of separated the players into two groups, and I still feel that to be the case. It would seem that Euripides, Plato, Alexander, Pent and myself was one group, and in the other was Socrates, Phidias and myself, with Achilles a bit of a mystery.
So, the round starts, and we have our curse challenge, I think, excellent, I am not too good at this kind of challenge, BUT, I have the timezones as my advantage for once...rather then a hindrance. However, I forgot that this game has people from all over the world playing it, and my cockiness turned into stupidity, when I only got one bucket.
I get cursed.
Poo.
Though, to be honest, I am not too worried about it, not at that point anyways.
Time moves on, and I miss two challenges, which is annoying, as they force everyone to come together and be social, which means I do miss out on a lot of the goings on within the game....
...
However, I get some massive relief to find out that Plato wins the emperor challenge. Why? Because he will put up the likes of Socrates, Phidias, Achilles who cant vote together, and the IN group keep their majority. Whilst at the same time, I look like I am a helper in the OUT group, and will fight for them if I am 'saved' at this execution.
Yes, I'm playing both sides....but, to be fair, the cast in this game are not social enough, not talkative enough, nor savvy enough to figure out what I'm doing....and, as long as I don't accidently win the emperor challenge and show my hand, I *should* be here for the long haul...
*should*
